About Me

I completed my Masters of Arts in Counseling at Regis University in August of 2018. I have also completed my post-graduate certificates in Child and Adolescent Counseling and Depth Psychotherapy. I have worked as a contracted therapist with Griffith Centers for Children, CHINS UP program since January of 2018. I am experienced in working with individuals who are or have been involved with the Department of Human Services and am familiar with the foster care system. I also spent four years working as a mentor and tutor for school aged children in an urban elementary school. I have worked with families who have struggled with addictions, misplacement, and domestic violence. I have also worked with Veterans through the Veterans Healthcare Administration.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), which means that I have completed all Masters' level education requirements and post-graduate requirements for full licensure. I am registered with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). Having this license means that I am following all ethical and legal guidelines, academic requirements, and experiential requirements to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

I have always had a passion for providing support and guidance to children and adolescents and have worked with youth for over a decade in professional or academic settings. I believe that we as human beings grow and transform from our experiences and beginning these transformations is possible throughout the lifespan.

I specialize in women's issues, trauma informed care, LGBTQA+ empowerment, spiritual/religious trauma, and twice exceptional/giftedness. I am also part of these communities and am very passionate about LGBTQ+, Trans, and nonbinary health, rights, and experiences.
